Cornerstone Church’s vision is to see people saved and help them develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live in the fullness of God and walk in the freedom of His Son Jesus Christ.
Salvation - We have both the privilege and responsibility to share the Good News with other people.
"I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ”. Philemon 1:6 (NIV)
Relationship with Jesus - The scriptures teach us there is a difference between salvation (being saved, going to heaven, and having your sins forgiven) and a real relationship with Jesus Christ.
“…that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection.” Philippians 3:10 (NKJV)
Empowered by the Holy Spirit - We believe all Christians can be spirit filled and spirit led.
“If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13 (NIV)
Fullness of God – We experience the fullness of God through the knowledge and understanding of His Word.
“May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God”. Ephesians 3:19
Freedom of Jesus Christ – Walking in freedom is a process, and we want to see everyone at Cornerstone Church walk in the freedom that is provided through Jesus Christ.
“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’." Galatians 5:13-14
Encounter: "In our weekend services we encounter God as we worship Him."
Encourage: "We encourage one another as we build relationships through small groups."
Equip: "We equip people with the knowledge of Christ so they may be free."
Excel: "We demonstrate the love of Christ as we excel through service."
